Rosa Alonso, President, Forache Productions

A strategy, integrated marketing, digital professional and recognized content creator and producer, Rosa brings extensive experience and leadership to her work with corporations, agencies, start-ups and non-profit organizations.  She is President and Principal of Forache Productions, a consulting firm with core competencies that include strategic marketing and communications, mobile/digital marketing and technology, multimedia content development/distribution, media sales/business development and cross-cultural and International initiatives . Rosa has worked with major brands, including Virgin Mobile, Sprint, Doritos, Universal Music, Burger King, Dove, Axe, Farmer’s Insurance, Boost Mobile, McDonald’s, Toyota, Pfizer, Yumm brands (KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut), State Farm, Verizon Wireless, WebMD, Tajín, ConAgra and General Mills brands, McDonald’s, AARP and the NBA as well as agency partners at ALMA DDB, GlobalHue, BBH NY and d expósito & Partners.

Rosa is also a web content creator and producer.  Her most recent work includes tech lifestyle and entertainment destination Rosa Alonso Digital, which earned her “The Innovator” award at SXSWi (South by Southwest Interactive Festival) for her work empowering audiences through technology.

Recognition of her work and commitment includes receiving LISTA’s  “Excellence Award” in 2015, the  “The Innovator” award in 2013 at the prestigious SXSWi (South by Southwest Interactive Festival) and the Columbia University Alumni Medal in 2012 for her lifelong commitment to Barnard/Columbia University communities.

Rosa received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University and her MBA from Columbia Business School.  She currently sits on the board (and is former Chair) of NALIP (the National Association of Latino Independent Producers), a premier organization for content creators and media makers and is a member of AWNY (Advertising Women of NY – now She Runs It). She served as Trustee on the board of Barnard College for 9 years and on the advisory boards of many organizations, including The American Heart Association, Florida State University and Laureate International Universities.  She regularly supports community education and empowerment organizations, such as the New America Alliance.  

Rosa appears regularly in the media as a tech expert and speaks frequently on consumer trends and segmentation/cultural marketing. She works and resides in the New York Tri State area and, as a true tech geek, has a robotic pet cat.
