Rosa Alonso, Founder, Principal Consultant
A strategy, integrated marketing, technology/digital executive and award-winning content creator/producer, Rosa brings extensive experience and leadership to her work with corporations, agencies, start-ups and non-profit organizations. She is founder and principal of Forache Productions, a consulting firm with core competencies that include integrated marketing and communications, product and digital/tech marketing, multimedia content development/distribution, business development/growth, cultural segmentation and international initiatives. Her experience includes leadership roles in media/ad tech (Integral Ad Science) wireless/digital (AT&T Wireless), media (Univision, Time Inc.) and at agencies (Edelman, d’exposito & Partners).
Rosa has worked with major brands, including Virgin Mobile, Sprint, Doritos, Universal Music, Burger King, Dove, Axe, Farmers Insurance, Boost Mobile, McDonald’s, Toyota, Pfizer, Yumm brands (KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut), State Farm, Verizon Wireless, WebMD, Tajín, ConAgra and General Mills brands, AARP, The NBA, and agency partners such as ALMA DDB, GlobalHue, BBH NY and d expósito & Partners.
Recognition of her work and commitment includes receiving LISTA’s “Tech Excellence Award” in 2015, “The Innovator” award in 2013 at the prestigious SXSWi (South by Southwest Interactive) for empowering audiences through technology with tech lifestyle/entertainment destination Rosa Alonso Digital (Mi Vida Tec) and the Columbia University Alumni Medal in 2012 for her lifelong commitment and service to Barnard College and Columbia University communities.
Rosa received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University and her MBA from Columbia Business School. She is currently a member of She Runs It (formerly Advertising Women of New York) and Girls Who Tech. She is a former board member and Co-Chair of NALIP (a premier organization for content creators and media makers), served as a Trustee on the board of Barnard College for nine years and on the advisory boards of many organizations, including The American Heart Association, Florida State University and Laureate International Universities. Rosa appears frequently in the media as a tech and consumer trends expert.
